May 10, 2021 · Import latest E38 SP-Daten files (v67 is the one I used) to WinKFP using BMW Coding Tool Configured WinKFP with the following settings: Plugged in my battery charger (mine is 10A) to the front charging spots in the engine and the K+CAN cable to the round OBD connector in the engine Ignition to position 2, turn off all lights, A/C, headunit etc. Oct 8, 2019 · The E38 is a 740d from one of the latest MY (00 or 01) but still uses the round connector under the hood with an OBD protocol (my adapter allows to select ADS or OBD).
